Orthodontic treatment can be challenging, but the results of a perfectly aligned smile make it all worthwhile. If traditional braces aren’t your style, consider Invisalign! Invisalign can help you achieve your dream smile with less stress, irritation, and inconvenience. The doctors at Blue Back Dental offer Invisalign near me to our patients in West Hartford and Avon, Connecticut.
Below, we explore some of the perks of choosing Invisalign to perfect your smile:
Invisalign aligners straighten your teeth discreetly, as the clear design keeps them well hidden on your teeth. Unlike metal braces, which stand out, Invisalign aligners blend in. They won’t attract undue attention to your teeth or cause you to feel awkward about your appearance.
Unlike metal braces that stay on your teeth for the duration of your treatment, Invisalign aligners are removable, giving you greater flexibility in your diet, oral hygiene, and daily living. With Invisalign, there are no dietary restrictions. You can even remove the aligners for date nights and special activities, if you replace them immediately afterward to avoid delaying completion of your treatment.

Invisalign aligners are custom-made for your teeth to ensure a comfortable, snug fit. They’re made of smooth, thermoplastic material that’s biocompatible with your teeth and soft tissues. There are no metal parts to contend with. You’ll find the aligners easy to use, maintain, and adapt to, making for a stress-free orthodontic treatment.
Invisalign aligners are removed for brushing and flossing, enabling you to take better care of your teeth. Brushing after every meal will keep plaque at bay to avoid dental problems that can delay your procedure. Your smile can stay fresher and healthier throughout your treatment.
Like metal braces, Invisalign can address multiple orthodontic issues to improve your smile’s health and appearance. This includes crooked teeth, overlapping teeth, mild to moderate bite problems, gaps between teeth, and problems with overcrowding.
Invisalign makes use of a series of aligners to straighten your teeth. Every few weeks, you’ll switch to a new set to keep your teeth moving into a straighter position. As the aligners don’t require adjustments, there’s no need for frequent dental visits. Your Avon or West Hartford, Connecticut dentist will schedule appointments every 6 – 8 weeks to keep track of your progress and ensure your treatment is proceeding smoothly.
The doctors at Blue Ridge Dental use 3D imaging technology to plan your Invisalign treatment. This technology allows us to map out the movements of your teeth at different stages of your treatment. You’ll also be given a visual of how your smile will look at the end of your procedure to keep you motivated to complete your treatment.
